What Does A Health Check Include?
A health check is simply about making you informed. We'll review your current digital assets and practices in plain language, without confusing jargon. You will be presented with an report containing the assessment of your IT security.

How Does A Health Check Work?
Typically a Cyber Health Check starts with a conversation about your business IT setup. That includes what IT assets you have, how your employees work with your business data, what location(s) you operate in and other relevant questions.

This may require a visit to your business location, or simply a video call. It may also require a screen sharing session (during the video call) to be able to answer some of the questions or clarify any information.

Once all the relevant information is known an audit is carried out of your cyber security. This is based on the Cyber Essentials framework which is part of a government backed cyber scheme and includes the technical controls described in the Cyber Essentials Certification page.​
What Happens Next?
Once you have your health check report you can use that information in whatever way you choose.

Self Mitigation: Use the report as a guideline to carry out changes yourself to mitigate any cyber security risks or vulnerabilities highlighted where you have the necessary expertise and time.

One-off Supported Mitigation: Request further help from Cyber Ease to manage some or all of the suggested improvements as a one-off piece of work. A quote would be provided and you can decide whether to go ahead. This would likely be packaged as an IT Project.

Supported Mitigation & Health Check Subscription: Request further help from Cyber Ease to make some or all of the suggested improvements as part of an annual health check and mitigation subscription to spread the cost.

Cyber Essentials Certification: Following the mitigation of any risks or vulnerabilities you could decide to move towards Cyber Essentials Certification to recognise your cyber protection measures.
